Flight Brigade is the coming together of two families. Lead singer Oliver Baines grew up on a farm in Ohio, before moving to the UK, where he first met fellow band member Miriam (now his wife) when they were kids. Her sister Dorry plays violin and joins Miriam in harmonies, the girls having been steeped in the 70′s British folk scene, thanks to their musician parents. BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson plus Radio 2’s Bob Harris and Janice Long (who described the band as astonishing, after playing a live session) have all championed the band to date as has Tom Allen on Canada’s CBC Radio 2. The band have supported Grouplove, Dry The River, Stornoway, King Charles and Seth Lakeman.
Flight Brigade also played main stages at Hop Farm & Blissfields festivals, opening for the likes of Maximo Park and Primal Scream. The band were commissioned to compose the music for an ITV documentary about Haiti as well as the Unicef World Cup campaign and are now working towards a 2015 release of their debut LP with producer Gavin Monaghan (Kings of Leon, The Editors).

/// Fjokra ///

Fjokra is a multi-instrumentalist from Dublin. Drawing influences from an eclectic mix of genres, he has been creating and performing music for most of his life since first beginning to teach himself piano at the age of three.

Now based in London, Fjokra is live with his eponymous band and has gained a reputation for exhibiting a uniquely bizarre and electric live show. Collaborating as a performer, producer and instrumentalist with names such as The Clash, Tyondai Braxton (Battles), Reeps One, Lazy Habits and Hollie Cook, Fjokra is progressively building a name for himself as a unique and versatile artist.

“Unique, insane and like nothing you’ll have ever seen before… we cannot recommend highly enough. This eponymous multi-instrumentalist from Dublin packs a punch in his music like no other. His songs sounds like they were all composed on a mad acid binge, whilst his attention to detail and multi-genre masterdom begs the question – why is this guy unsigned?” – Kat Jackman, Huffington Post

/// HUSH!///

H U S H ! are a British cold wave/dream pop band from Bridport, Dorset formed in 2011. The band’s sound is littered with glorious debris from the likes of New Order, The Durutti Column, Human League, The Cocteau Twins, Echo and the Bunnymen, Twin Shadow & Beach House… there’s grand & atmospheric shoegaze texture fastened to a pumping rhythm section of analog drum machines and synthesizers. There’s an undeniable 80’s influence running through the roots of their material but it’s weaved in with an ethereal, contemporary and melancholic approach to their song writing which unravels into a majestic compilation of rhythm and melody… a  deep pop mentality and simmering, shimmering brightness, coloured by vocalist Arran Taylor’s dark and brooding lyrics.
