Music Industry Speed Dating and Networking event – April 20, 5:45 pm at the Phoenix Artist Club, Soho.

/// A Three Act Showcase Follows the Networking Event with Ida Wenøe, Lail Arad and The White Feather Collective ///

It’s time for the April Music Industry ‘Speed Dating’ event – This event is free, on a first come first served basis, for friends new and old. It’s the ideal opportunity for established industry to do some business, or for aspiring industry and the best emerging acts to talk to the people that can help get their record, release, or project to the next stage. It’s also the perfect evening for those of you just wanting to come along and catch up with industry friends and allies. We’re enormously grateful to all the experts coming along tonight for their time and generosity of spirit in helping us to keep the spirit of collaboration burning.

Please email networking@karouselmusic.com with ‘Speed Meetings’ in the header and let us know in order of preference which experts you’d like to see – we’ll do our very best to get you in to see as many of the guys as possible. Gabrielle, Chris or Roger will get back to you with a confirmation. Feel free let us know if you just want to come and do the general network and catch up. We’re very passionate about encouraging collaboration amongst independent music pros; and about letting artists know that there’s plenty of good souls on their side in the indie world. Please do spread the word to any friends or colleagues that may want to attend, and help us get the message out – it all adds to the success of the evening.

Doors at 5:45pm for a prompt 6pm start then a general network at 7pm, and music at 8pm. As always, there’ll be a superb menu of fresh home cooked food on offer from the club. We’ll post the menu on facebook, but there’s always a cracking fish and chips (no frozen rubbish) and some seasonal specials amongst other things, depending what’s good at the market. Something for the omnivores, carnivores and herbivores…

We hope very much you’ll stay around to support the artists – that’s why we’re here after all. Tonight we’ve one artist over from Denmark, a band from Malvern, and a born and bred Londoner. Please let us know if you’re intending to stay so we know what to expect on numbers, should be a busy night!
