We’ve teamed up with London lifestyle blogger extraordinaire Poppy Loves for a new series of gigs from her kitchen. We’ll be providing the acts every month for Poppy to interview, and film singing their hearts out for a slice of cake among the steam blossoms. What a wonderful website, by the way – it’s had over 230,000 hits already since it’s rebranding last month. She’s rather good at all this, and had a fiercely loyal following – so we’re made up that she’s giving a little bit of her kitchen over to helping promote friends of ours that write great songs. It’s all about collaboration folks – you don’t need to throw money around to get the grassroots humming. Here’s our very own Ana Silvera – whose stunning debut ‘The Aviary’ we released when we were still called Karamel. She looks a little frightened by the kitchen audience’s response (!) but we were all quite excited to see her among the tea pots and casseroles. (We’re always excited in the kitchen to be fair – ed.)
